Each month we work dynamically with the astrological and elemental season.
Rituals draw from the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, butoh, & Vajrayana Buddhism.

"Art church created an amazing place for me to be FREE at a time when I really needed it. A peak experience, I can't wait to get back." ~EC
“This practice awoke a powerful visual prayer in me that continues to be a lighthouse in my life even many moons later. Gia’s facilitation is warm, accessible and fun with invitations that bring playfulness, depth and creativity.” ~ Ashleigh
TRIKAYA is a weekly practice of somatic meditation and inquiry.
These labs are different from a standard meditation class. Yes, we are working with subtle awareness in the body, but we are also moving, exploring the nature of emotion, and working relationally.
The name Trikaya translates to “3 bodies,” and refers to the tantric Buddhist framework of aligning the physical body, the mythic/imaginal body, and spacious clear mind.
Classes will pull from core aspects of Dharma, but will decenter dogmatic transmission and instead center a creative approach that invites you to explore what actually works for you.
Classes are drop in and emergent but each month has a theme that builds on itself.
In May we're orienting toward desire as a vitalizing force in our bodies and lives.
Some aspects we'll likely explore:
eros as vitality + the nature of desire
relational practices around asking/receiving/lacking/having
the suffering of shallow grasping
Bring a cushion and a journal. $20 drop in.
