"Art church created an amazing place for me to be FREE at a time when I really needed it. A peak experience, I can't wait to get back." ~EC

If you’re feeling the intensity of this shift into the lunar new year, classes in March and April will touch on these energies in a big way. We have big planetary energies dancing between Pisces and Aries—-in a place of total disillusion and subsequent inspired action. Getting comfortable in the space of not-knowing and un-doing, while also committing to fresh impulse, will be highlighted all year. Our first two classes will particularly help resource your body and mind for this dance between liminal undoing and embodied becoming.
TRIKAYA is a weekly practice of deep inquiry and homecoming.
The name translates to “3 bodies,” and refers to the tantric Buddhist framework of aligning the physical body, the mythic/imaginal body, and spacious clear mind.
This is a place to gather in actual inquiry and remembrance of our innate belonging. Classes will pull from core aspects of Dharma, but will decenter dogmatic transmission and instead center a creative approach that invites you to explore what actually works for you.
March 25 is a drop in intro class, by donation.
April will be a 5 week series exploring the nature of selfhood. Many spiritual dogmas renounce the self, resulting in self-abandonment, inability to speak up or defend yourself, & dissociation from life giving vitality and eros. Alternately, plenty of western healing models center the personality and self-hood in a way that can trap us in identity and isolation. This series will explore the full range of selfhood~ what brings us freedom and what binds us. $100 for series, 5 weeks.
Classes include movement, some sitting, and shared reflection. Contact Gia@8thHouseDharma.com w/ any questions or to sign up.
